Poly-Mud H acrylic polymer is a partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide with high molecular mass and average anionic activity, obtained by salt polymerization of acrylamide and sodium acrylate. It improves rheological properties of drilling fluids, which contributes to efficient drill cuttings outflow from the borehole

Purpose

Poly-Mud H is designed for flocculation, encapsulation of drill cuttings in water-base drilling muds. It is also used to increase the viscosity of drilling mud and to consolidate the walls of borehole. It forms a thin, solid filter cake on the walls of borehole, which prevents the hydration of clays and colmation of pore throats.
