Purpose

HimInvert С emulsifier based on fatty acid derivatives is used for well-killing fluids preparation and for invert emulsions preparation used for injection wells treatment in operations on equalization of injectivity profile.

Recommendations to application

The standard well-killing invert emulsion composition:

• HimInvert C – 2-6%;

• hydrocarbon phase (oil, gas condensate, diesel fuel) – 15-20%;

• brine solution (for sodium chloride solution stability, calcium chloride salt adding is recommended) – balance to 100%.

The emulsion viscosity is controlled by the ratio of hydrocarbon phase to aqueous phase. As the amount of the aqueous phase increases, the viscosity grows. The emulsion stability depends on the amount of the emulsifier used and on the mixing intense. The emulsion properties can be modified towards better stability under high temperatures according to the customer specification
