WellFix P-100

Purpose

WellFix P-100 is designed for use in the petroleum and gas industry, in the processes of well cementing as plasticizing additive to cement slurries, reducing hydraulic resistance of cement mortar, minimizing the pressure of pumping and squeezing during well cementing jobs. The principle of action of the reagent WellFix P-100is based on dispersing cement particles due to manifestation of electrostatic and steric effect of the absorbed molecules of the plasticizer. The steric effect is achieved due to hydrophobic side chains of the molecule of polycarboxylate ether.

This plasticizer retains high efficiency in cement mortar systems prepared using highly mineralized tempering fluid.

Recommendations to application

WellFix P-100 shall be used for dry mixing, as well as by adding it into the cement mixture liquid. The working concentration varies within 0.05 to 0.25% of the dry cement weight. Exceeding the required concentration may affect the mortar sedimentation stability. Being used with WellFix FL fluid loss reducing agents, it exhibits a synergistic effect and enhance their action.
