WellFix FL Extra - Fluid loss reducing agent for cement mortars

Purpose

WellFix FL Extra is designed to use as an additive to reduce the value of cement slurry filtration when cementing well casing.

WellFix FL Extra is recommended for the use for cementing of production casing, pay horizons, to preserve the reservoir properties of pay zones, as well as for gas wells and oil wells with high gas-to-oil ratio. It is used in temperatures up to 180°C, it is also stable in salt-saturated solutions (up to 18%).

Recommendations to application

WellFix FL Extra is added to dry cement mix or to cement tempering liquid. Recommended range of the WellFix FL Extra concentrations is 0.2-0.8% to the dry cement weight, depending on the type of cement slurry and the required value of water loss.

WellFix FL Extra does not have any negative effect on the speed of strength development and the ultimate strength; it does not cause any considerable increase of the viscosity of cement mortar under ground conditions, preventing thermal dilution under high temperatures of well bottom.

WellFix FL Extra is compatible with all classes of cement, as well as with various additives to cement mortars.
