Chemical reagents for drilling

Purpose

WellFix RTD-4 is to be used as an additive to cement and gypsum binder-based mixtures, in order to regulate the setting time. The product has the following advantages:
• effectively slows down the setting of the building mixture based on gypsum binders, even at low concentrations;
• does not affect the strength of the construction material;
• extends the processing period, providing the time required for the application of high-quality covering;
• does not contain highly toxic components and does not have a destructive effect on the environment.

Recommendations to application

The introduction of WellFix RTD-4 can be carried out in two ways:
• introduction directly to the mixing device during the preparation of gypsum mortar; • preliminary dissolution in water necessary for the preparation of the construction mixture, followed by mixing and adding gypsum powder. The optimal pH range for the application of the chemical product is 6.5-12.0. In the case of lower values, it is necessary to adjust the pH to a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction of the medium (for example, by adding a small amount of cement or lime). The recommended dosage of WellFix RTD-4 is 0.02-0.1% of the binder weight. The optimal concentration is determined during preliminary laboratory tests, we recommend to contact Himprom representatives to choose the right concentration.
