Hydra CX is a liquid composition of boron-containing minerals and special additives that regulate the crosslinking process.

Hydra CX slow-acting crosslinker is delivered in polypropylene barrels of 200 liter or bulk containers of 1,000 liters.

Purpose

Hydra CX is used for guar or its derivatives based polysaccharide linear gel time lap crosslinking. The chemical provides even crosslinking of linear gel, giving lubricating ability to the product. In addition, the crosslinker allows to reduce the pipelines resistance loss and increase the pumping speed.

Recommendations to application

Recommended concentration of Hydra CX slow-acting cross-linker in fracturing fluid is 1.5 to 4.0 kg/m³. The cross-linked gel performs good thermal stability in the temperature range of 70 to 120°С. Laboratory tests are recommended for specific well conditions.
