Hydra XW is a liquid composition of boron-containing minerals and special additives regulating the process of crosslinking.

Hydra XW is delivered in plastic barrels of 200 liter or in bulk containers of 1,000 liter.

Purpose

Hydra XW is used for crosslinking of polysaccharide linear gel on the basis of guar and its derivatives with time lap from 10 to 30 seconds. It provides even crosslinking of linear gel without lumps or clogs.

Hydra XW-1 is a high-alkali fast-acting crosslinker and can be used at formation temperatures up to 120°С.

Hydra XW-2 is a fast-acting crosslinker for operation at formation temperatures up to 60°С. In addition, Hydra XW-2 can be used as additive improving shear properties of crosslinked gel at temperatures up to 120°С.

Hydra XW-3 is a fast-acting crosslinker for operation at formation temperatures up to 90°С.

Recommendations to application

Recommended concentration of Hydra XW-1 in frac fluids should be from 1.0 до 2.0 l/m³, the one of Hydra XW-2 - from 2.0 to 4.0 l/ m³.
