New Himprom laboratory development featured in Drilling and Oil

The specialist industry magazine "Drilling and Oil, Issue No. 3/2019 published an article by Himprom authors "Lightweight Cement Slurry for Low and Moderate Temperatures".  

The article presents a lightweight cementing material developed in Himprom’s laboratory. The material is intended for cementing wells with low and normal temperatures where the geological section includes loss zones and formations with low fracture pressure. The article presents the material’s main parameters and describes its component composition. The values are based on laboratory studies and can be adapted to customer requirements.

The technical benefit of the developed composition is the prevention of cement slurry losses by reducing its density while maintaining zero free water and high cement-stone strength.
