HimBreak H is a chelating agent with a low pH value, it dissolves the components of calcium carbonate in filter cakes formed because of water-based fluids used for reservoir penetration.

Purpose

"HimBreak H" is applied in oil industry as the destroyer of a filter cake, reacts only with a calcium carbonate. Reagent has moderate pH and does not cause corrosion in comparison with acids and oxidizers. It does not form emulsions in interaction with hydrocarbons of the productive layer. It is applied depending on borehole conditions at temperatures more than 135 °C, compatible with brines of chlorides / bromides of monovalent salts.
