Chemical reagents for drilling

Purpose

Under reservoir conditions at high temperatures (≥60 °C), one of the HimTermogel components is hydrolyzed in aqueous medium to form a gel capable to reduce the permeability of waterwashed formation areas. Being used in formations of terrigenous and carbonate reservoirs, HimTermogel allows:
• equalize the injectivity of profile in injection wells and the inflow profile in producing wells;
• increase oil flow rates of responding producing wells;
• increase waterflood coverage of reservoirs;
• limit water flow in production wells and thereby reduce the rate of production water encroachment;
• reduce unproductive and inefficient injection in the water injection system by reducing water withdrawal into the edge-water zone or reducing interplastic flows.

The recommended HimTermogel to water ratio is 1:10. The optimal concentration of the product is determined taking into account the requirements for the gel. It is recommended to get consultation of Himprom representatives.
