Purpose

“HimBlock-100” is designed for the sealing of intervals with inflows of water and gas, as well as for lost circulation control, including fractured and cavernous structures.

Advantages:

High blocking effect in fractured and cavernous rocks, “one-component” product from “a single bag” can be circulated into a thief zone: it is easy to transport, store and prepare; standard equipment is sufficient for its preparation.

Recommendations to application

“HimBlock-100” is prepared by way of its tempering in water in concentration of 8 to 10%. The used volume ranges from 1 to 50 m3 and depends on absorption power, formation temperature at lost circulation intervals and geological factors. Depending on the bottom-hole zone pressure and injection rate, the entering of a retarder may be required, for instance, retarder “HimRet-100”.

It is recommended to select a required volume of the retarder by way of calculating the required time and the arrangement of laboratory testing.
