HimBlock-200 - Blocking agent compound

Purpose

“HimBlock-200” is designed for preparation of block agent compound, used for well killing, with the view to minimize lost circulation, decrease filtration and protect the bottom-hole formation zone.

Advantages:

regulated time of crosslinking;
low consumption rate;
good blocking power;
density of blocking compound is from 1.01 to 1.20 g/cm (with solid phase up to 1.7 g/cm);
both fresh and mineral water can be used as the basis for mixing;
aeration of the gel is possible in the process of crosslinking, to obtain crosslinked foam. Gas bubbles contribute to additional blocking bottom-hole formation zone, according to the Jamin effect;
decomposition under the influence of acids.

Recommendations to application

“HimBlock-200” contains crosslinker and the crosslinking activator separately, which makes it possible to prepare large volume of gel in advance, and the crosslinker may be entered directly before injection. Crosslinker can be also entered into injected solution directly.
