Highly efficient foamer for mineralized systems, “HimFoam S” is an anionogenic surfactant, easily dissolvable in strong brines, saline compositions of hydrocarbons, decreasing their density to required values. “HimFoma S” is used for treatment of old gas wells or low rates zones with a problem of logging off. By decreasing the density of fluid and its surface tension, it is possible to pump out the formation fluid in the areas where it is accumulated in a hole, using the natural formation energy. “HimFoam S” is dissolved in water, water solutions of salts and their mixtures, such as calcium nitrates and chlorides, sodium and potassium chlorides, sodium and potassium formates, sodium bromides, zinc, calcium, demonstrating excellent foam-forming properties.

Recommendations to application

The foaming agent of mineralized systems “HimFoam S” is used in saline solutions with broad spectrum of percentage of salt (0-25%). Content of gas condensate up to 40% is acceptable. When injected continuously, the volume of the reagent ranges from 0.5 g/t to 5 g/t (depending on degree of water cut).

When batch treatment is applied, the volume of 5 g per each m3 of fluid, and higher, is injected, depending on the percentage of condensate in fluid.

Fluids containing condensate would require higher volume of the foamer.
