WellFix FL 1 - Cement mortar fluid loss reducing agent

Purpose

It is designed to be used as an additive to reduce fluid loss of cement mortars when performing cementing jobs for oil and gas wells.

WellFix FL 1 makes it possible to efficiently regulate filtration qualities of cement slurry. Depending on the degree of viscosity (low-, medium-, highly visious) WellFix FL 1 can play the role of a thickener and controller of sedimentation, preventing stratification of the mixture, buildup of free water and improving the rheological properties of the solution.

Recommendations to application

WellFix FL 1 is added to dry cement mix or to cement tempering liquid. The recommended range of the WellFix FL 1 concentrations makes up from 0.1 to 0.6% of the dry cement weight, depending on the type of cement slurry and required value of water loss. The range of temperatures varies between 5 and 100°C. The thickening time may increase under temperatures higher than 65 °C.

WellFix FL 1 is easily dispersed in water with its further dissolution, it has high resistance to salts.
