Purpose

WellFix Spacer SB is designed to be used in the petroleum and gas industry, in the processes of well construction and workover, as a solid particles sedimentation preventing agent. It creates homogenous structure throughout the total height of cement column. It has excellent rheological properties, increasing the dynamic yield stress, not affecting the plastic viscosity. WellFix Spacer SB positively affects the filtration rate. It is efficient in the fresh water and the salt-saturated systems. It is compatible with all types of surfactants and detergent compositions. WellFix Spacer SB is recommended to be added to solutions with low density, microcement based systems and spacer washer fluids to perform the required rheology properties. It is essential to the process of the intermediate and the production casings cementing, especially to the wells with horizontal completion.

Recommendations to application

WellFix Spacer SB is added to cements by dry mixing. Recommended concentration is from 0.05 to 0.2% of dry cement weight. For heavyweight cement plug of 1.3-1.4 g/cm3 density WellFix Spacer SB-1 of 0.3-0.8% of the water mass is recommended. For heavyweight cement plug of over 1.3 g/cm3 density WellFix Spacer SB-2 of 3.0-5.0% of the water mass is recommended.
