WellCoat PU Grade A

Purpose

WellCoat PU Grade A polyurethane dispersion is used as a binder in the production of wood, metal, mineral substrates coatings. The product forms solid transparent high gloss films, has good adhesion to wooden and metal surfaces. WellCoat PU Grade A provides high resistance to chemical and mechanical influences, weather conditions. The dispersion is compatible with other polyurethane, as well as acrylic and styrene-acrylic aqueous dispersions, which can be used to obtain a finished product with the desired properties.

Recommendations to application

If WellCoat PU Grade A is used as the main binder, the content of the product is determined by the coating performance requirements. If WellCoat PU Grade A is used as the additional binder, the recommended dosage of the product should be at least 20% of the content of the main binder (on a dry basis). The optimal dosage of WellCoat PU Grade A is determined during laboratory tests, we recommend to contact Himprom representatives to choose the right concentration. WellCoat PU Grade A must be stored at a temperature range from +5 °C to +35 °C, avoiding exposure to low temperatures.
