WellCoat DFB-2 — Himprom

Purpose

WellCoat Defoamer DFB-2 is to prevent the formation of foam during the production and use of aqueous paints, impregnations, ready-to-use plasters and adhesives. The product does not contain silicone oils, is easily dispersed and remains effective during storage. Can be used in pigment pastes and colorimetric systems.

Recommendations to application

WellCoat DFB-2 can be entered into the composition at any stage of production. In the production of paintwork materials, it is recommended to introduce the defoamer in stages: add half the volume to the pigments before grinding, enter the rest at the final stage of production. The recommended dosage is 0.1-0.5% by weight of the finished product. The optimal dosage of the additive is determined by laboratory tests. WellCoat DFB-2 must be stored in closed containers, avoiding direct sunlight and contact with oxidizing agents. The optimum temperature range for storage is from +5 °C to +40 °C. The shelf life is 6 months if the storage conditions are met.
