WellCoat DSL — Himprom

Purpose

WellCoat DSL is used as a wetting agent and pigment dispersant in the water- and oil-based paints, enamels, varnishes, and printing inks production. The modified lecithin molecules are adsorbed on the pigment particles, reducing the interaction between them, thereby ensuring qualitative dispersion. WellCoat DSL dispersant has the following advantages:
• Effectively reduces dispersion time and energy costs for mixing;
• Stabilizes pigment particles, preventing their flocculation and reagglomeration during the dispersion process;
• Provides high light absorption and color intensity;
• Non-toxic and non-destructive to the environment.

Recommendations to application

The recommended dosage of WellCoat DSL is 0.5-1.0%. Introduction is recommended at the stage of pigment paste manufacturing.
