Purpose

WellFix defoamer is used in dry building mixtures based on cement and gypsum binder to effectively eliminate bulk and surface foam, prevent excessive air entrainment. The chemical product shows its activity even at low concentrations. WellFix Def is suitable for use in a wide range of pH values and a wide temperature range, it does not lose its defoaming ability when transported and stored at negative temperatures.

Recommendations to application

WellFix defoamer is introduced into the mixture by dry mixing. The recommended dosage of the additive is 0.01-0.2% of the mixture weight. The optimal dosage of the additive is determined during laboratory tests, we recommend to contact Himprom representatives to choose the right concentration.
