Chemical reagents for drilling

Purpose

NeoInvert SyntFL is used as an HTHP filtration reducer in non-aqueous drilling fluids. The mechanism of work is to form deformable soft particles in organic solvents. The product is effective as a replacement or supplement to gilsonite-based filtration reducers, compatible with liquid reducers based on maleinized tallow masses (e.g. NeoInvert FL Liquid). NeoInvert SyntFL also improves the rheological properties of the system under high shear loads, which allows the use of rheology modifiers in smaller dosages to achieve the required rheological profile.

The typical concentration of NeoInvert SyntFL is 5-20 kg/m3 . To select the optimal concentration using a particular drilling fluid, preliminary tests are recommended.
