Purpose

HimLube OBM is used in oil and gas industry for the treatment of oil-based drilling fluids in order to reduce torque, prevent dragging and sticking of the drill string during the drilling of directional and horizontal wells. The product forms a super-strong chemisorption adsorbate monolayer, which effectively reduces the frictional coefficient, and also promotes turbulence of the drilling fluid flow in the annular space, increasing the carrying capacity of the washing liquid. HimLube OBM consists of synthetic natural environmentally friendly raw materials and is compatible with all reagents used for the preparation of OBM.

Recommendations to application

The recommended concentration of the lubricating additive HimLube OBM is 1.0-3.0% (10-30 kg/m3) for primary treatment and 0.5-1.0% (5-10 kg/m3) for secondary treatments. In order to choose the optimal concentration, it is recommended to contact Himprom representatives.
