Chemical reagents for drilling

Purpose

The NeoInvert SyntMod is used in oil-based drilling fluids as a regulator of rheological properties during the construction of oil and gas wells. The improvement of the rheological properties of the fluid during the introduction of the chemical product is achieved due to the formation of brittle gel structures of a synthetic polymer with organophilic clay, the presence of sludge additionally stabilizes the three-dimensional network obtained when the reagent is activated. In addition, NeoInvert SyntMod additionally acts as an HTHP filtrate reducer. The product can be used at high downhole temperatures. The dry form of the product is not prone to freezing and loss of efficiency at critically low temperatures.

Recommendations to application

The recommended concentration of NeoInvert SyntMod is from 0.5 to 4 kg per 1 m3. To select the optimal concentration of NeoInvert SyntMod using a particular drilling fluid, preliminary tests are recommended.
