Recommendations to application

Advantages

NeoInvert Thin is particularly efficient for the optimization of rheology in high density solutions where unacceptably high gel strength and yield point can be obtained. NeoInvert Thin smoothes the thickening of oil-based mud after thermal ageing.

Recommendations for use

To optimize drilling mud structure and rheology, 1.5-5.0 kg/m³ of NeoInvert Thin are enough. At the same time, in order to prevent complete loss of mud rheology, the initial concentration of the reagent shall not exceed 1.5 kg/ m³. Concentrations exceeding the recommended value may lead to sharp decrease in viscosity at low shear rate.

In order to determine the required thinner concentration in particular drilling mud, preliminary tests are recommended.
