Chemical reagents for drilling

Purpose

HimGlow OBM is used as an oil-based mud indicating agent for tracer analysis. The additive is mostly used for filtrate invasion into the formation evaluation.
HimGlow OBM tracer:
• performs easily recognizable trace under low concentrations;
• does not affect drilling mud rheology and viscosity;
• is not adsorbed on clays;
• easy and safe to handle.

Recommendations to application

HimGlow OBM initial concentration in marker fluid is 0.5-1.0 l/m3 . The final concentration is selected according to a mud base (oil, mineral or synthetic oil) and composition (inert solids content).
