Hydra GEL X

Hydra GEL X ensures instant mixing both with fresh and low-salt water (Hydra GEL X-1) and in high-salt solutions (Hydra GEL X-2). In one-dimensional state, the product has low viscosity, but exhibits high viscoelastic behaviour, thus allowing significant pressure reduction at the moment of pumping the polymer into a blender. Advantages 

• High proppant carrying capacity, equal to traditional guar-based systems, with a relatively low effective viscosity of the fracturing fluid; 

• easy destruction with the use of traditional breakers to low viscosity values, which has a positive effect on the reservoir contamination and the efficiency of oil extraction; 

• instant hydration, hence the product can be used «On the fly» with direct injection into the stream; 

• low values of the polymer working solution effective viscosity significantly reduces the injection pressure and has a positive effect on the regained conductivity of the crack; 

• thermal stability; 

• no need for biocide.
