Purpose

HimGid is used in the oil and gas industry to effectively prevent the formation and dissolution of gas hydrate deposits that can form in oil and gas production systems.

HimGid provides:

• reduction of capital and operating costs, no need for regeneration equipment;

• continuous production;

• safer and more environmentally friendly production;

• reduction of processing costs;

• elimination of products methanol contamination, higher product quality;

• minimization of the negative effect of methanol on oil/water separation;

• elimination of salt deposition associated with methanol;

• elimination of oxygen corrosion associated with the high solubility of oxygen in methanol.

Recommendations to application

HimGid hydrate formation inhibitor is recommended to be dosed continuously, or to carry out one-time treatments in a gas-liquid stream. The reagent feed point should be as close as possible to the hydrate formation zone. The dosage depends on the specific process conditions and is determined during pilot tests.
