HimDem is a composite mixture of surfactants in an organic solvent. Four grades of HimDem are available: D-111, D-112, D-113, D-114.

HimDem demulsifier is supplied in polyethylene barrels and other containers.

Purpose

HimDem products are used in the oil industry in order to destroy oil-water emulsions in field collection systems, oil transportation, oil treatment and desalination plants. Demulsifiers have a distinct affinity for the interfacial boundary of the emulsion, provide intensive flocculation and coalescence of water globules, as well as hydrophilization of suspended particles and their redistribution into the aqueous phase. HimDem provides:

• high water discharge rate;

• low water and salt content in the prepared oil;

• a clear phase boundary;

• high quality of wastewater;

• pressure reduction in oil collection systems at low temperatures of well production;

• prevention of the formation of intermediate layers.

Recommendations to application

HimDem demulsifiers are used to destroy both light, low-viscosity and high-viscosity oil emulsions, heavy oil emulsions formed both at the early and late stages of operation of gas and oil fields. In order to select the optimal concentration it is recommended to contact Himprom representatives.
